About the Job
We are looking for an energetic and reliable Shift Leader/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have a memorable experience through excellent service and efficient operations. You’ll take charge during your shift, supervising team members, managing food and beverage service, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, hospitality, and leading teams to deliver top-notch customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Lead your shift by coordinating team activities, ensuring smooth service flow, and maintaining high standards of customer care.
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Supervise staff training and development, providing guidance on food handling, service techniques, and restaurant procedures.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and minimizing waste.
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices and food safety management protocols.
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods, including cooking, plating, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Experience:
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Proven supervisory or team management experience within the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Experience in hospitality management or food service management roles involving staff training and shift supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory management, and profit/loss analysis.
